Improving Training Program Within an Established Epic Environment
Erlanger Health System is an academic system of hospitals and medical services based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The Phase II training program was not keeping up with the aggressive timeline to prepare for a big bang go-live. CSI provided our Training Director to move the project forward in order to maintain the pace of the timeline.
CSI’s Training Director reviewed and updated the Epic Training implementation; including updating the EPIC training calculator, adding multiple rooms, and cross-credentialed trainers to fulfill the errors found within the training calculator. CSI also streamlined many other training activities prior to end user training such as Phase I New Employee Training, training request and ticketing system, LMS system errors, and the STS program.
Working with CSI’s Training Director has placed Erlanger Health System back on track with the aggressive timeline. The training team has been successfully training both Phase I and Phase II employees and has an overall training satisfaction score of 4.6 out of 5.
